About Samara: Samara is your typical 7 year old. She has a very sunny disposition and is usually a very happy go lucky girl. She loves birds and having tea parties with Seven (who she views as her own personal living doll of sorts). Samara is a chatty sort of girl, always asking questions and getting into everyone’s business. She means well though. She likes to help people and make them happy. She’s often frustrated with the way Hyde treats Aiden (who she has a crush on) While usually a peaceful child Samara has been known to throw tantrums at Hyde and kick and bite him. Luckily Hyde finds this all very amusing and doesn’t do anything to her in retaliation.

Background story: Samara was the daughter of one of the prostitutes at Satines brothel. Samaras mother was murdered when she was only a few months old. When Samaras mother found out she was pregnant she made Morrigan promise to protect her child if anything was to happen to her. She knew the man who was Samaras father would try to take her child if he found out about her existence and he was a violent, horrible man. Eventually he did find out and that lead to the argument that got Samaras mother killed. Morrigan was terribly angry and upset that her friend and fellow call girl was killed. She knew the only way to protect Samara was to kill the man before he could hurt the child. She gathered a group of her colleagues did what she promised her friend she’d do.

Morrigan and many other people that live and work in Mayfair Manor help raise Samara. Samara knows she had a mother once but she now considers everyone at Mayfair Manor her family. She spends her time pretty much equally with each of her family members. As bad an influence as Morrigan can be she try’s her best to look out for Samara and teach her to be a good person. Samara knows Morrigan is not her mother but has taken to calling her "Mama Morrigan" to which Morrigan always smiles and laughs and calls Samara an obnoxious brat and then proceeds to tell her that she’s "far too young and beautiful to be anyone’s ‘Mama". She really finds Samara calling her this very sweet though.

Samara spends most of her days in the Manor playing games and teaching things to Seven or helping out various maids and Manor staff that help raise her that work there.

Tasha's comments: When Volks first came out with MSD's I didn’t like them. I just wasn’t interested in childlike dolls. Then I had one visit here for a repaint and esthetic work and I fell in love with how cute and poseable they were. It wasn’t long after that until I ordered Samara. As much as I liked the doll that had visited here for commission work, it actually took me about 2 years until I really fell in love with Samara. I was thinking of selling her for a while but I never could part with her now Samara is currently my only blonde doll. She occasionally sports a black wig to fit in with the others though
