About
Nena: Nena is the picture
of innocence. She’s sweet and loving and very girly. While she is
16 she acts more like a young girl. Even though she’s seen a lot of
bad things in her short years she doesn’t understand evil and the
bad things in the world. Nena smiles at everything but never speaks
a word. When people are around her they get the overwhelming feeling
to protect her. Bhindi particularly feels this. She never lets Nena
out of her site and would defend her to the death. Nena loves animals,
particularly cute and fuzzy ones and the color pink. She’s never without
Bhindi and usually can be found cuddled up next to her, holding her
hand.
Background
story: Not much is known
on Nenas past or where she came from. She just appeared one day at
the manor. No one questioned her being there. There is a lot of speculation
on why Nena never speaks but only Hyde knows the truth. He bought
the girl from The Midnight Society who were injecting her with various
illegal chemicals in an attempt to create a person with some kind
of super human abilities. They only let Hyde have Nena because they
felt there experiments were a failure and since she couldn’t speak
and the chemicals wiped her memory they knew she wouldn’t be able
to tell the world of what they had done to her.
What most people,
even Hyde, don’t know is that Nena can communicate with people if
she wishes to and she’s recovering her memory. She is able to speak
in a whisper but she only chooses to talk to Bhindi and Bhindi, who
feels her reason on earth is to protect her "angel" Nena, would never
tell a soul Nena can speak, however little. If The Midnight Society
found out Nena could speak and was recovering her memory they would
surely kill her.

comments: I’ve been
a big big fan of Gentaro Arakis work for a while. He’s such an incredibly
talented sculptor (though I do find some of his works a bit too perverted
for my tastes ). I particularly love the way he sculpts hands and
the female body. He’s got such an eye pleasing style. I love my Unoss
(Morrigan) so I was so excited when I saw he was making more dolls
(the Unoas). I knew the moment I saw them that I would have to get
a Lusis and a Sist. I love all my dolls pretty much equally but I
admit I ‘play’ with Nena and Bhindi the most. There size is just a
lot of fun to handle and they somehow look great no matter how there
posed.

I decided with
this repaint Nenas colors would be black and pink. Sbe looks a little
less scary with this make ups.

I tryed a softer
approach to her eyebrows here. She looks a little drugged up but I
kinda liked that look.

give Nena a cuter look with this repaint. I remember I quite liked
her lips.

current look. I plan to repaint her soon though. Overall Im happy
with her look but my tecnique has improved a lot since I painted her
this way.
