About Mezzanine : Mezzanine is a vampire created by Hyde. She once was a sweet girl but he’s turned her into a spoiled brat by giving her everything she could possibly want and more. Despite the fast that she can be a childish brat she’s also very feminine and at first glance has the manners of a perfect noble lady. She’s been educated in the fine arts by masters in their fields and she speaks 5 different languages. She is an expert at playing the piano and is a very talented artist. While she is very proper well mannered lady most times she’s can be ruthless in her pursuit of blood. She enjoys tormenting her victims before killing them.

Background story: Mezzanine was born in the country. She lived happily with her mother, father, brothers and sisters in a small cottage on the river for 16 years. It was on her 16th birthday when she was going to town on an errand for her mother when she met Hyde and her life changed. Hyde was hunting for his next blood meal when he came upon the girl. He was so taken by her beauty and sweetness that he decided he couldn’t kill her. He would make her one of his own. A vampire.

When Hyde took Mezzanine mortal life he also took with it her memory. He decided to raise the girl as his sister. He told her lies as to why she couldn’t remember her life from that day past. He gave Mezzanine everything she could possibly want, treating her as his own personal doll he could dress up and spoil. As usual Hyde grew bored with his new toy sister after a few years and stopped giving her the attention she was used to. She still got whatever she wanted except for Hyde’s affections. After living many years of her new life never allowed out of Mayfair Manor and never having any friends Mezzanines sweet personality turned cold. She now hides her bitter heart behind her sweet smile and ladylike manners.

Tasha's comments: For the longest while I didn’t really care for the Anais head mold. I had had one here to work on (not to repaint though) and wasn’t that taken with her. I then had another here to repaint and after I took off her default make up I fell in love with the mold and knew I’d have to get one. That’s the dangers of taking commissions I guess, falling in love with the head molds you work on. You may wonder why on earth I’d call a doll Mezzanine. I named her after my favorite CD by Massive Attack

This is Mezzanines current look. Im pretty happy with it. I had to give her a mole on her cheek because when I was painting her I was watching a movie that was about a rich aristocratic lady with powderd make up and a mole painted on in the same place thats personality was very simmaler to Mezzanine.
